- <p> LARRY VILLELLA wants to be a cardiologist when he grows up.
- But America might be better served if he dreamed of someday
- running the Office of Management and Budget. A North Dakota
- ninth-grader, Larry's made about $50,000 marketing an eco-sensitive
- shrub sprinkler he invented. Now he's devised a plan for energizing
- our anemic economy: inspire Americans to donate their dollars
- to Uncle Sam. "You wouldn't have to give a lot," says Larry.
- "Ten dollars a person would help." His own largesse, however,
- has been more impressive: the bespectacled gardening impresario
- mailed President Clinton $1,000 with a request that the money
- be spent on AIDS research, housing, health care, defense and
- education. Now that smells like teen spirit.
